The Steve Smith Charity Challenge brings more than 400 alumni and friends together for a day of golf and unique Spartan connections. For the second year, the Steve Smith Charitable Fund will partner with the Michigan State University Alumni Association to host a Steve Smith Charity Challenge golf outing in Grand Rapids.  Proceeds from the event will help fund the Steve Smith Scholarship Fund as well as local charities in the community.  The success of the Steve Smith Charity Challenge has provided the MSU Club of West Michigan the opportunity to donate nearly $600,000 to MSU sponsored programs and scholarships during the past decade.
