Steve Smith Scholarship Recipient Pays It Forward

Sherronia Dorsey-Walker, a Pershing High School graduate and a recipient of a Steve Smith Scholarship, recently achieved one of her many goals.  She, with the help of Garth Motschenbacher, Director of Employer Relations in the MSU College of Engineering, has set up her own scholarship fund to help a student achieve their dream of graduating college.  The scholarship is given to a student who works hard in school, is active in their academic career and gives back to the community.  A more detailed article regarding Sherronia’s accomplishment can be found here.
